Morgan James Group Health and Associated Benefits
When Morgan James was setting up our employee group health and associated benefits, out of curiosity I surveyed our authors. Most are self-employed entrepreneurs without any form of health insurance, benefits or anything so we developed a Group Health and Associated Benefits package that could be offered to our authors. This includes actual health benefits for most states as well as Aflac benefits (US Authors only).
And, yes, you are correct in thinking that no other publisher offers this to their author base. But we are not like any other publisher.
As I mentioned above, Aflac benefits are now available to you though Morgan James Publishing. Due to your existing affiliation with Morgan James Publishing special rates are now available to you.
Aflac benefits complement and support your major medical insurance. The benefits are paid directly to you, the policyholder, not the doctors and hospitals. All the benefits piggyback right on top of one another. We do not coordinate benefits or exclude payment because of other insurance. Even if confined to a US government hospital and there is no charge Aflac still pays you money. Additionally, your rates never go up with Aflac. Aflac policies are fully portable and the rates do not change if you leave Morgan James Publishing and wish to carry the plans on your own. The rates you are offered today are your rates forever. You can also never be canceled for any reason other than non-payment.
In 2007 Aflac was able to pay over $5.5 billion to policyholders. They pay most claims in 4 days and filing a claim is as simple as providing your printout from the doctor.
