Barnes & Noble Announces Black Friday and Cyber Monday Deals and Steals

Shop Early and Spend Less on Wide Selection of Popular Books, Movies, Toys & Games and More

Company to Offer Free $25 Membership to First 25 Customers with $50 Purchase in Participating Stores

New York, New York – November 22, 2010 – Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS), the world’s largest bookseller, today announced its wide selection of Black Friday deals on some of the season’s hottest gifts.  The promotions will begin leading up to Black Friday and in-store offers will run through the end of the day Monday, November 29.  Also, on November 29, Barnes & Noble will host a variety of online-only “Cyber Monday” specials.  In addition to savings of up to 50 percent on a variety of popular books, movies, toys and games, the company is also giving away free one-year membership (value $25) to the first 25 customers who make a $50 purchase in participating stores on Black Friday.
