Upcoming Habitat for Humanity Dedications

MJbuilds-w200h79We are pleased to announce the dedication ceremonies for two more homes! We would love for you to come out and celebrate this joyous time for all of the Building Partners, volunteers, workers, and homeowners!

The first dedication will be held Monday, July 12th at 10:30 AM at 2501 Oak Avenue in Newport News, VA. This home in the East End of Newport News will become the home of Glenda Knighton and her daughter, Oleta. This house was constructed in honor of Habitat’s 25th Anniversary. This will be a special time for all those involved. Please join us!

The second dedication will be held Wednesday, July 21st at 10:30 AM at 626 Teach Street in Hampton, VA. This is Habitat’s Women Build Partnership, which has many generous building partners including WVBT Fox 43. We are expecting great media coverage!! Pearlean Brooks is the soon-to-be homeowner, who will share her home with her daughter Mariah, and grandson Armond.

We hope you can attend these special ceremonies as they each mean so much to Habitat and all those involved. As you know, our ceremonies are rain or shine, last less than 30 minutes and refreshments will be served at both.

About the Author
