iBooks Gets Huge Update

gallery-software-ibooks-20100127Oh boy, isn’t today just filled with updating goodness? Grab yourselves a cuppa very chilly iced tea and sit back and relax as iTunes basically upgrades your whole life. In addition to iTunes 9.2.1, iBooks is also announcing an update [iTunes link]. This version will enable you to open and read PDF documents from Mail and the ability to search for them. In addition, you’ll be able to take advantage of the new bookmarking systems with the new page ribbon, and keep them synced wirelessly between your mobile iDevices.

You’ll also be able to see your book pages in the font, Georgia, as well as read your books on white or sepia colored pages, giving you more options and making reading in the dark a little bit easier on the eyes. You can also choose left or fully justified text layout from Settings, and increase the font size of the text.

Man, that is one packed app update.
